Policy and procedure for medication refills


For Medication Refills: For most expedient medication refill requests please use your patient portal. Requests made with this method will be managed within 24 hours on business days. Refill Requests from your Pharmacy will be managed within 2-3 Business days.

For Medication Samples: Leave a message on the medication line and we will call you if there are samples approved by your doctor for you to pickup.

For Prior Authorizations: All prior authorizations requests are processed by our office within 2 business days. The insurance companies take up to 10 business days to process our request.

For Patient Assistance Programs: Leave a message on the medication line. Request refills at least 10 business days before running out as it may take 7 to 10 business days to be shipped out by the assistance program.

Directions To Refill Through Your Patient Portal

  1. Login to your Patient Portal (You must be registered to access the portal. If you are not contact the office and provide your email address for registration).

  2. Click on the "Medical Records" button on the left of the page and subcategories will show.

  3. Click on "Medication" and your medications will show.

  4. Click on the "Refill" button next to the medication you wish to be considered for refilling.

  5. An e-mail will be sent to you with the doctor's decision within 24 hours of your request.
