
Jamie Cadieux, LCPC
Jamie Cadieux is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a variety of experience in different treatment settings, including private practice, community mental health and inpatient hospitalization.
She received her BA and MA from Eastern Illinois University. She is a licensed school counselor. She has been working in the mental health field since 2003. She works with individuals ages 13 and older, as well as couples and families. Her therapy style is active and goal-oriented, teaching cognitive-behavioral techniques and dialectical behavior therapy skills as the primary focus. Her goal is to help you reach your desirable solution in as brief amount of time as possible. She believes that all people are capable of change and have it within themselves to make any changes necessary to build a better life. She also provides longer-term therapy when necessary.
She has worked with people struggling with a variety of issues including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, marital distress, stress management, self-injury, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, domestic violence, adjustment disorders, sexual abuse, grief/loss, borderline personality disorder, PTSD and anger management.
